OPEN POSITIONS:

Vibration Analyst ISO Cat II - Southern CA
 
CMS is seeking an experienced Field Vibration Analyst, Cat II or III to join our dedicated team in providing condition monitoring services to our valued customers in the US Southwest Region. Experience in vibration analysis of rotating equipment and current ISO Level II or higher certification is required. CMS utilizes the Adash vibration platform and software. Additional certifications and skill levels in thermography, airborne ultrasound, and oil analysis practices are encouraged.
 
This is a hybrid work opportunity with a good balance of fieldwork and remote work at home. We value work-life balance as shown with over 45% of our employees averaging 14 years+ of employment with CMS.
 
Job duties will include new account setup, vibration data collection and analysis, in-place machine balancing, alignments, advanced onsite diagnostics as needed (phase analysis, coast downs, pump acceptance testing) and other preventive maintenance measures. 
 
Requirements:
Level II Vibration Certification
At least 4 years experience in the field, ability to perform in-place machine balancing, alignments, and advanced machinery diagnostics
Strong proficiency in reliability engineering principles and techniques, and the successful implementation of this knowledge.
Ability to work under minimum supervision
Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to create draft vibration analysis reports based on findings on site.
 
Prefer Southern California region or Las Vegas area-based employee but will consider applicants in Southwest region. Candidate must be willing to travel to other areas, as we also have customers throughout Arizona and Nevada. This position will be a mixture of field work and office analysis / reporting.  
 
Compensation DOE, hourly with overtime. CMS offers a competitive benefit plan that includes health insurance (medical, dental, vision), matching 401k, vacation, and holiday pay.
