Adash vibration analyzers utilize the FASIT (Fault Source Identification Tool) technology to help users quickly determine the condition of their machinery. This mode will analyze machines with a speed over 10Hz (600 RPM). Once the speed is determined by the instrument or inputted by the user, FASIT can detect and trend unbalance, misalignment, mechanical looseness, and suspected bearing defects. Results are displayed in graph form for easy interpretation. Although FASIT is not meant to be a replacement for review by a certified analyst, it can certainly inform the maintenance team of a potential fault.
