CMS certifies with SCAQMD to provide rule 1110.2 portable emission testing for stationary engines. The new rule which became effective on February 1st, 2009 in general requires operators of spark ignited engines greater than 50hp operating more than 200 hrs per year to be tested weekly with a portable combustion analyzer for 3 weeks, then monthly there after. The rule has stringent equipment calibration and testing protocol.
